You only need one person to take a chance on you to show how great you are. John Brian Menya, Country Sales Manager- Government Payroll, Premier Credit, knows this very well. John did everything he could to find a job. His persistency landed him an interview for the exact role he was looking for in a company most job seekers would want to be part of – Premier Credit.

Here’s John’s story.

How did you get to know about Fuzu?

I learnt about Fuzu through Google search. I was looking for a job and was looking at different job boards when I landed on the Fuzu website.

You happen to be one of the many Fuzu users who’ve successfully gotten a job. How was the application process for you?

The application process was straight forward. I was captivated by the personality test. For me it was a good thing to be able to understand my personality and strengths.

I liked the instant feedback feature. Not sure how authentic it is but good to know how strong my CV is.I was also testing to see if I am still relevant in the job market.

Premier Credit had just signed on to Fuzu and were looking to see if they can find the right talent, to see if the platform works.

What’s your favorite thing about Premier Credit?  

I love their open door policy. No running around to have a decision made. The structure is lean so decision making is quick. The work culture is good. The product I am in charge is still in its infancy so I am watching it grow. Every milestone here is celebrated, the company celebrates progress.

Any exciting memories so far?

We have opened up branches in the Northern region and in the Western region all from scratch, the beauty of this is that you can put your name on any progress made. I have seen my colleagues grow and performing really well.

Are there any secrets you used that could also help other job seekers get a job? Or what advice would you give job seekers?

Trust the platform. Job seekers need to be serious and treat the application process as the first interview. Give all the necessary details as requested on the platform. Focus and give it your all, like you are sending your CV to an actual HR person.
