During this Corona virus crisis, it is super important to be self-aware and practice good mental health habits as recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO). WHO says that it is normal to feel sad, stressed, confused, scared or angry. Therefore, talk to people - especially family and friends.

Are you on self-quarantine or working from home? WHO advises you to eat healthy, exercise, sleep enough and maintain social contact via phone, email, zoom or skype with family and friends. WHO also strongly advises against using smoking, alcohol or other drugs as a coping mechanism. Engage the services of health worker or counselor such as those offered by Wazi and get help if required.

Please be accurately informed. Ensure that you get facts about the Corona virus from trusted sources such as the WHO website, Ministry of Health, KEMRI, CDC, John Hopkins University among many others. This will help you determine your risk and equip you to take the necessary precautions.

According to WHO, cut back on watching or listening to news coverage about COVID-19 because it will only serve to further agitate and worry you. Your mental health should be of utmost importance in these crazy times.
