Google /’gu:gl/ verb – search for information about something or someone on the internet using the search engine Google. “She googled for jobs on Fuzu”

There’s definitely no other better example that could be used to illustrate the kind of impact the partnership between Fuzu and Google will have on the job market. Speaking at the official launch Charles Murito, Country Manager Google was categorical on how the new search experience engineered by Google is technology that is intended to help people reach their goals. This new feature on Google is in line with their previous initiative – Grow with Google which was a drive to grow the skills and help users find job opportunities.

The courtship between Google and Fuzu wasn’t that difficult considering both have goals in common. Providing opportunities to users and supporting them to realize their dreams and improve economic opportunities for job seekers.

Despite this being a demand-driven market, job seekers go through agonizing experiences when hunting for jobs while employers find it a challenge to get the best and matching talent. This is going to be a thing of the past with the Fuzu-Google partnership. Through the partnership, jobs on Fuzu will get a wider reach hence more visibility.

Christina Lin, Head of Product Google took to the stage to demonstrate the features of the Google job search tool that will be critical in helping users filter for suitable jobs. The filters include job title, location, date posted, type (full-time or part-time) and employer. This makes it easier and convenient for job seekers to search for opportunities. To avoid missing out on opportunities, users can turn on notifications to receive email digests on new job opportunities that match their search.
