Job Description
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of nurses.
- Managing and supervising operational issues in the School Clinic.
- Responsible for performance and discipline among the nursing staff.
- Managing the duty roster and allocating the staff depending on the workload.
- Prompt incidence reporting and management of patients’ grievances.
- Ensure and monitor adherence to nursing policies and protocols by the staff.
- Accountable for the equipment used in the nursing and clinical care areas.
- Providing on-the-job training as and when variances are observed.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing services.
- Helps in allocating Nursing personnel to various Nursing Services Departments.
- Keep records and reports of the Nursing Services.
- Supervise care given in various departments
- Guide and counsels nursing staff.
- Arrange orientation programmes for new nursing staff.
- Maintain discipline among nursing personnel
