The MEAL Officer will support Kulika Uganda to document project results/impact ensure improvement in program quality and contribute to the overall target/direction, strategy, program formulation, and implementation in the project area.


Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, social science, statistics, management studies,

• Postgraduate diploma in M&E.

• 3 years of work experience in MEAL-related roles within the NGO, private for profit or government sector

• Experience of using digitized data collection tools

• Experience in working with refugee and host communities is an added advantage.

• Willingness to work in rural areas.

• Excellent report writing and presentation skills are a must.


Responsibilities
The MEAL Officer will support Kulika Uganda to document project results/impact ensure improvement in program quality and contribute to the overall target/direction, strategy, program formulation, and implementation in the project area.

• Plan, collect, validate, and analyze all project data.

• Compile monthly and quarterly quantitative reports using relevant project tools.

• Maintain and regularly update relevant project databases.

• train and support other project staff to use the relevant project data collection tools.

• Maintain an updated comprehensive database of Bonga, ECD, and CMSG project beneficiaries.

• Organize monthly, quarterly, and annual review meetings for staff and other stakeholders to review the project progress and create spaces and opportunities for action-learning.

• Coordinate joint project assessments, monitoring, supervision, and evaluations for tracking project results at different levels (outputs, outcomes, and impact).

• Coordinate the Data Quality Assurance exercise for all project interventions following Stromme Foundation’s DQA framework.
