Job Brief:
We are seeking a dynamicand experienced Modern Trade Manager to lead our modern trade sales initiativesand drive growth in this sector. The Modern Trade Manager will be responsible
for developing and executing strategies to maximize sales opportunities inmodern trade channels, manage key accounts, and foster strong relationshipswith retail partners. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background inmodern trade sales, strategic planning, and account management.
Responsibilities:
o
Develop and implement sales strategies toachieve revenue targets within modern trade channels, including supermarkets,hypermarkets, and large retail chains.
o
Identify and cultivate relationships withkey decision-makers and stakeholders in modern trade accounts.o
Negotiate and finalize agreements, terms,and contracts with modern trade partners to ensure mutually beneficialpartnerships.
o
Lead and manage a team of modern tradeexecutives to execute sales plans and achieve sales objectives.o
Analyze market trends, consumer behavior,and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.o
Collaborate cross-functionally withmarketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution ofsales strategies.

Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, andprepare regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies andinitiatives.
o
Develop promotional and marketingcampaigns tailored to modern trade channels to increase brand visibility anddrive sales.
Requirements:
o
Bachelor’s degree in BusinessAdministration, Marketing, or a related field.o
Proven experience in modern trade salesmanagement, preferably in the consumer goods industry (FMCG).o
Strong understanding of modern tradechannels, market dynamics, and retail operations.o
Exceptional negotiation, communication,and relationship-building skills.o
Leadership abilities with a track recordof leading and motivating sales teams to achieve targets.o
Analytical mindset with the ability tointerpret data and make informed business decisions.o
Proficiency in using MS Office Suite andsales management software.o
