Job Summary

Responsible to the Head of Department

Interested persons who meet the minimum requirements should submit their applications together with the following:

  1. A detailed and up-to-date Curriculum Vitae.
  2. Certified copies of academic transcripts, certificates, and professional qualifications, appointment letters, and in case of health workers; registration certificates and valid practicing license from relevant professional bodies.
  3. Names and addresses of three referees.
  4. Copies of the National Identity Card, birth certificate or copies of relevant pages of the passport and National ID indicating the applicant’s date of birth.


  1. Supervise the support staff and ensure all records are properly kept.
  2. Supervise file movement system and provide appropriate guidance.
  3. Locate and attach appropriate files to correspondence to queries to be answered by various officers.
  4. Monitor an inventory of office equipment and furniture in the department.
  5. Follow up actions required at the Estates, Security and Medical sections.
  6. Assist in soliciting data information required from teaching and non-teaching departments
  7. Ensure cleanness of the offices.
  8. Ensure that the contracts are signed and adhered to.
  9. Provide technical (legal) support to various committees.
