Job Summary

To assist in carrying out technical/Sports activities of the Council

Responsibilities

  1. Assist in conducting Seminars and Courses for the general improvement of games and sports
  2. Annual reports, programs, sports calendar drafted;
  3. Supervising sports, games and events;
  4. Organizing sports courses;
  5. Mobilizing and sensitizing the community on sports and games policies;
  6. Liaise with District sports councils;
  7. Coordinate various sports disciplines and projects.
  8. Assist in Preparing work plans and budgets.
  9. Coordinating various sports activities and programmes.
  10. Identifying, developing and promoting sports talents
  11. Availing sports and games facilities and equipment;
  12. Determining the status of sports facilities and equipment;
  13. Sensitizing and mobilizing sports and games stakeholders on development of sports and games
  14. Compile and maintain National Associations data base

The NCS which is linked to the Supreme Council for Sports in Africa (SCSA) and other relevant sports organizations serves as an apex organization that coordinates all sports activities in the country, in conjunction with National Sports Associations/Federations.
