Job Summary

Required Qualifications

A Master’s Degree in Music with focus either in Music Theory and Composition, or Ethnomusicology or a Master’s degree in any Music performance area from a recognized University.
A Minimum of an Upper Second Bachelor of Arts in Music (BMUS) or Bachelor of Science in Music (BSc, Music) from a recognized University.
Experience of teaching, performance and execution of projects in music theory and composition is an added advantage

Responsibilities

1. Teaching, examining and grading students at both Graduate and Undergraduate levels in soil Physics, Hydrology, Soil and Water Conservation

2. Supervision research for Undergraduate and Graduate Students.

3. Mentoring of Junior Staff.

4. Conducting research and community outreach activities.

5. Writing proposals for attracting funding to the Department.

6. And any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department
