Job Summary

Our client, a State Corporation in the financial regulatory sector wishes to recruit a Assistant Manager - Fund Investment.
  1. CPA (K) / ACCA qualifications.
  2. Membership to ICPAK or ACCA certification.
  3. Chartered Public Accountant –Kenya (CPA-K) / ACCA, Certified financial analyst, investment (research).
  4. Member of professional bodies – ICPAK, ACCA, CFA.

Applicants are required to immediately initiate self-clearance (Comply with Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya) from: -

  1. Kenya Revenue Authority
  2. Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
  3. Department of Criminal Investigation (Certificate of Good Conduct)
  4. Higher Education Loans Board
  5. A Credit Reference Bureau

  3. Establishment of the portfolio strategy by consistently evaluating and improving the investment portfolios.
  4. Discerning the best strategy for investments.
  5. Monitoring investments on an ongoing basis.
  6. Helping gain maximum benefits from investments.
  7. Providing advice on investment areas.
  8. Regularly meeting with investment analysts and fellow managers to discuss financial matters.
  9. Reading financial briefings (often written by investment analysts).
  10. Making informed financial recommendations and decisions.
  11. Keeping knowledge up-to-date about the local, regional and international economies, current financial news and financial markets.
  12. Assessing and interpreting complicated financial information.
