Job Summary

•Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, media technology or related field with 5-7 years of professional level experience, including at least 3 years of team or project management.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas and processes in a simple way to individuals at all levels.
•Collaborative working and management style. Natural curiosity with a humble willingness to learn.
•Excellent writing and editing skills. Hands-on design ability and a good eye for detail.
•Strong experience in a variety of communications channels and the ability to understand the needs of audiences and communicate effectively with them through those channels.
•Skilled at utilizing research methods and logical thinking to solve problems with practical solutions.
•Expert-hands on proficiency with content technologies and design tools, particularly the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite across print, web, interactive, photography, and video.
•Ability to speak, read, and write French will be an added advantage.


•Directing the development and design of narrative and graphical content for all communication channels , including key messages, compliance with Church visual identity, and success metrics.
•Leading the Area Communication Editorial Council in the development of and adherence to the area and global Church editorial calendars.
•Overseeing the development of specific content and messaging pertaining to major area initiatives
•Ensuring that messages across all channels is integrated and that all channels are current and populated with relevant and fresh content – in English , French and Swahili.
•Design and create content to help opinion leaders better understand and support both the church as an institution and its message of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

Job Requirements

Required education: Bachelor's degree
Required relevant work experience: 7 years
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
