Job Summary

Maintains Fleet condition by inspecting and maintaining vehicles and conducting Rescue Operations for Breakdowns; tearing down components and assembly on vehicles by removing engine components, suspension systems, transmissions and testing equipment and vehicles after maintenance and repair work is completed; and connecting, aligning, and adjusting items and systems to assure proper operation of the computer system or vehicle. Ensures Maximum Availability, Reliability and Fleet and Workshop Safety.


    1. Troubleshooting and Diagnostics
a. Troubleshoot problems including but not limited to vehicle engines (diesel and gasoline), electrical systems, and suspension.
2. Preventive Maintenance.
a. Performs Vehicle service as per the Maintenance Tasks, conducting checks as outlined the task list, and generating defect reports for maintenance planning and corrective repairs.
b. Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections.
3. Predictive and Corrective Repairs.
a. Repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage based on the Corrective Maintenance Orders generated from Defect Reports, Routine Inspections and Maintenance Requests from Drivers.
4. Breakdown Repairs and Rescues.
a. Timely response to rescue operations during breakdowns both on site and off site (in the market). Troubleshoots and performs preliminary repairs and ensurs the vehicle is safely driven to the garage for further repairs.
5. Conducts Root Cuse Analysis.
a. Conducts Root Cause Analysis for equipment breakdowns and premature failures of major components to prevent repeat failures in the future.
6. Vehicle Inspection, Post Repair Checks and Routine Audits.
a. Carries out Routine Inspection, Post Repair Checks and and Participates in Quarterly Fleet Audits.

Experience with Mercedes Benz and HINO Trucks will be an added advantage.

Job Requirements

Required education: Diploma, Associate's degree
Required relevant work experience: 6 months
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
