Job Summary

Our client, a group of companies based in Nairobi that are in different sectors i.e Engineering, Construction, Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Security and Medical Equipment’s are seeking to recruit a COO who will secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth. The successful candidate will maintain control of diverse business operations. Additionally the ideal candidate Must have experience Managing Projects and thus be an efficient leader.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures.
  • Establish policies that promote company culture and vision.
  • Advocates / promotes organization and stakeholder change related to organization mission.
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
  • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance & HR).
  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
  • Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance.
  • Assist CEO in revenue generation ventures.
  • Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.).
  • Participate in preparation of annual budget for Board approval and prudently manage the organization’s resources within those budget guidelines.
  • Manage relationships with manufacturers/partners/customers.
