Job Summary

Company profile: Our client has been a leading tea producer and exporter in Uganda for over 20 years. It has three estates with its headquarters at Kasaku near Lugazi. Kasaku is about 48 Km from Kampala and 40 Km from Jinja.

Job Role: Responsible for the day-to-day running of the coffee estate and all staff working there. It is your responsibility to ensure that continued quality of work is maintained and all Company procedures are followed.


• Plan, implement and monitor the implementation of Coffee plantation activities in line with organization strategy and business plan

• Develop strategies for the implementation of coffee Cherry quality standards and monitor the implementation and compliance to the standards
• Manage the performance, development, welfare and benefits of staff in line with HR policies, union terms and conditions
• Plan, monitor and evaluate the picking of coffee cherries and delivery to the factory
• Plan and prepare the field department annual budgets, plans and monitor their performance  in line with the business strategy
• Estate Administration:  Establish and maintain relationships with workers and key stakeholders in line with the business strategy
• Implement International standards
