Job Summary

The job holder will be accountable for compliance checks on all company policies, procedures and regulations and to legislative and regulatory requirements. The post holderswill report to the Head of Risk & Compliance and will be based at Head Office


1. Ensures that applicable legislation is being complied with by staff by regularly reviewing and monitoring compliance processes as well as day-to-day compliance to

legislation and regulations
2. Ensure that compliance risks are identified, assessed and controlled through business specific policies and procedures
3. Preparing Company Operational Manuals in consultation with the Risk Officers, the Manager and the Head of Department
4. Conducting Compliance checks on Company Procedures and Process to ensure compliance
5. Reviewing of Company Procedures and documentation of manuals to enhance basis of Procedures Compliance
6. Preparing Compliance annual work plan to guide on the compliance process.
7. In consultation with the Heads of Department, identify areas of compliance weakness and recommend remedial measures
8. Following up on Internal Audit recommendation on Compliance related issues for implementation
9. Preparing training requirements for the Department
10. Preparing and presenting Compliance reports
11. Coordinating the Company Anti-Fraud Strategy Committee and Anti – Money Laundering Activities (MLRO)
12. Coordinating and Managing the local and regional offices compliance requirements
13. Preparation of the Procedure Manuals for all the Group Companies
14. Preparing Compliance Reports in line with Annual work plan
15. Awareness and training on fraud
16. Coordinating Fraud related Incidences and Anti-Fraud strategy committee
