Job Summary

Jumia Travel is a hotel/flights booking website that
provides travelers with the perfect place/flight they need at the best price
from more than 25,000 hotels in Africa and more than 200,000 hotels around the
world.

of available accommodation online, and to create the easiest and cheapest way
for Customers to book it. We want to create a well-balanced team of talented,

Requirements:

Strong communication skills in English (andFrench for French speaking countries). Proficiency in other local languages
will be an advantage

The ideal candidate will have strong salesskills and will be customer obsessed
·
Tasks require a strong attention to detail andability to work under tight deadlines
·
Bachelor’s Degree in Business/ Marketing.Certification in marketing an added advantage. At least 2 years’ experience
handling business development for an organization Network and contacts in the
industry is an added advantage. (Preferably Hotel Industry)

Sharp,outgoing and up to date individual.

Responsibilities

• Generate new sales and leads of Corporate Clients.
 • Grow the business
through new business opportunities.
• Attract, Retain and build long term relationships with new
and current Corporate Clients and providing regular feedback to management
 • Develop a growth
strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
• Promote the Jumia Travel’s services addressing or
predicting clients’ objectives
• Prepare Corporate contracts ensuring adherence to
law-established rules and guidelines
• Keep records of sales, revenue and invoices
• Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support to
clients
 
 

Job Requirements

Required education: Bachelor's degree
Required relevant work experience: 2 years
Required skills: Market research, intelligence; Budgeting, financial planning; Project monitoring and evaluation (M&E); Business development; Business strategy; Sales performance tracking and reporting; Sales strategy; Project implementation; Data analysis; Marketing
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
