Job Summary

The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority is responsible for providing regulatory oversight, airnavigation services and aviation training in Kenya. The Authority is seeking to recruitqualified Kenyan citizen to fill the Corporation Secretary position.

  1. Preparing and organizing Board Meetings in compliance with all the laws,regulations and procedures.
  2. Preparing the Agenda, Board papers, Board Minutes, and other Boarddocuments including Notifications and to ensuring that Board members receivethe documentation for meetings in a timely manner.
  3. Keeping safe custody of Minutes of the Board, the Corporation’s seal and otherBoard documentation.
  4. Coordinating the submission of timely replies by the Authority to Parliamentaryquestions that touch on the mandate and operations of the Authority.
  5. Providing professional guidance to the Authority’s Board, Management and staffon compliance with good corporate governance practice.
  6. Assisting the Director General in all legal matters pertaining to the Authorityand planning, coordinating and overseeing advice and guidance given by thelegal office of the Authority to the Board, Management and staff of the
  7. Authority, with a view to ensuring compliance with the laws, regulations andprocedures relevant to the mandate and operations of the Authority.
