Job Summary

Unumed is a digital health infrastructure provider. We partner with various institutions such as hospitals, clinics, counties, ministries of health, donors and humanitarian organizations to improve the quality of care to patients through the use of technology.
We are looking for a self-driven individual with strong interpersonal skills that can fit in in a dynamic team.
This is a field role and will require the candidate to be willing to be stationed outside Nairobi most of the time.



  1. Scope hardware, connectivity and system functionality needs for new installations.
  2. Plan logistics and timelines for new installations.

  1. Implement a professional and smooth networking/cabling infrastructure
  2. Align with all stakeholders and stick to agreed timelines and deliverables
  3. Perform professional and role-specific training
  4. Set up required IT support team for customer

  1. To provide technical and training support for outreach activities as required.
  2. To train IT supporters on new releases of the system.
  3. To ensure thorough follow-up and user support to ensure high system adoption rate and data quality.
  4. To perform routine system optimization and checks that all performance metrics and services perform as intended.
  5. To provide 2nd level support for the system. This will entail receiving technical issues raised by IT support team and resolving them.
  6. To escalate unresolved technical issues to relevant technical personnel.
  7. Daily monitoring of system use at installations using both automated tools and by checking on users.
  8. Collect and compile user feedback that will be then be reported in Unumed’s product management tool, Jira.

Stakeholder Management
  1. Interact with facility managers and donors on a regular basis to ensure that their requirements are met.
  2. To extract and send out reports from deployments to the relevant stakeholders.
