  1. Create strategy. You will create the Assisted Network strategy. Your plan will define the best ways we can partner with the Ugandan government and NGOs to improve community health. We help government and NGOs better utilize mobile technology, collect and analyze data, strengthen their supply chains for drugs and equipment, and develop financial incentives, like pay for performance, that motivate managers and community health workers.
  2. Develop partnerships. Your relationships will enable you to build partnerships with leaders in the ministry of health, districts, and NGOs. You will make it easy and compelling for governments to contract with the organisation for help with mobile health tools, data collection, supportive supervision, and community health worker training. The alliances you develop with government and NGO leaders will lead to contracts and pay-for-performance financing mechanisms for the organisation to manage more community health networks.
  3. Advocate for community health. The organisation’s model weaves business practices like marketing, sales targets, and pay-for performance into its work. While they don’t need you to sell our products, they do need you to sell both the organisation and their approach – to donors, Ugandan government leaders, private health organizations, and NGOs.
  4. Develop our innovative financing approach. Help the organisation to become a pioneering in health financing and a best in class technical advisor for effective community health systems.
  5. Lead the troops. Direct the Government Relations and Advocacy team to increase external audiences understanding of and commitment to community health and the organisation, specifically. Build a brand new team to deliver technical assistance to government and partners.
