The officer will be responsible to the Chief Officer in charge of Finance for the efficient management of Supply Chain Management Services in the County.

Shortlisted candidates shall be required to produce original and copies of their National Identity Card, academic and professional certificates and transcripts, KRA, HELB, EACC and CRB clearances and Certificate of good conduct during the interviews.
Serving officers shall be required to produce the original letter of appointment to their current substantive post during the interview.
i. Policy development and interpretation on supply chain management;
ii. Advising the Chief Officer, Finance on matters pertaining to Supply Chain Management;
iii. Providing guidance in the overall Supply Chain Management policy and management;
iv. Issuing administrative guidelines on implementation and interpretation of the Act, Regulations and other statutes;
v. Introducing modern inventory management techniques and approaches;
vi. Implementation of e-government procurement strategies;
vii. Providing guidance on research and development;
viii. Participating in negotiations in matters pertaining to Supply Chain Management.
ix. Implementing inventory management information system;
x. Liaising with other finance management functions;
xi. Providing overall guidance on contract design and management;
xii. Providing guidance on disposal of Government inventory and other assets;
xiii. Advising on quality assurance on goods, works and services;
xiv. Management, training and development of Supply Chain Management personnel;Required education
: Post-graduate educationRequired relevant work experience
