Job application procedure

Application forms should be submitted in triplicate to the Secretary, District Service Commission Amudat, P. O. Box 2622, Mbale not later than 11th January 2021. Applicants should attach certified photocopies of their academic certificates, transcripts and Valid licenses (Where applicable) with three (3) copies of recent passport size photographs. Applications Forms should bear the Title and Reference number of the post applied for. Serving officers should route their applications through their head of department who should be informed of the closing date to avoid late submission. Those invited for interviews MUST come with their original certificates and National Identification card. Job purpose:
To coordinate and manage all engineering and technical works in the District.

Responsibilities

i. Providing technical advice and guidance to stakeholders;
ii. Preparing technical specifications of contracts;
iii. Supervising all the technical works in the District;
iv. Preparing work plans and budgets for the technical works in the District;
v. Approving buildings and other structural plans;
vi. Developing and maintaining water and sanitation systems; and

vii. Enforcing engineering and works policies.

Job Requirements

Required education: Bachelor's degree
Required relevant work experience: 7 years
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
