Responsibilities

Reporting to the Sub Area Manager and with technical support from the program manager-health and nutrition, the Medical Doctor is responsible for:

  1. Ensuring quality in primary health care activities / services provided to refugees and host communities at the health facility and in the catchment communities by providing medical consultations.
  2. In addition to patient care, s/he will lead the team, supervising medical staffs under him/her, conduct on-the-job trainings, maintain accurate patient and SC records and provides input to SC reports and participate in the smooth functioning of the clinic.
  3. The role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly
