Job Qualifications

  1. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  2. A valid driving license free from any current endorsement(s) for class (es) of vehicles(s) an officer is required to drive;
  3. Passed Occupational Trade Test III for Drivers;
  4. Defensive Driving Certificate from the Automobile Association (AA) of Kenya or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  5. Attended a First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week
  6. A valid certificate of Good Conduct from Kenya police; and
  7. Show merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results


  1. Driving a motor vehicle as authorized
  2. Carry out routine checks on the vehicle’s cooling, oil, electrical and brake system, tyre pressure, etc
  3. Detecting and reporting malfunctioning of vehicle systems;
  4. Maintenance of work ticket for vehicle assigned
  5. Ensuring security and safety for the vehicle on and off the road, safety of passengers and/or goods therein; and maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle.
