Job Summary

Field Officers shall be responsible for particular tasks related to the selection of the beneficiaries, monitoring activities, communication with counterparts involved in the county projects in the project preparation, implementation and evaluation in accordance with the existing regulations and Donor requirements. Involvement into the project site monitoring, and regular reporting to the Project Coordinator.


  1. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Swahili, and a native language of the preferred county.
  2. Ability to collect data through surveys, observations, and interviews.
  3. Comfortable making presentations to large groups of people
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. Organized and efficient, with excellent attention to detail
  6. A positive attitude and flexibility with changing circumstances
  7. College diploma or university degree in social sciences, health, development studies, Business Administration, or another applicable course
  8. Previous experience in humanitarian organization with similar scope of work will be considered an asset;
  9. Good in using Microsoft office applications- word, excel, publisher and PowerPoint.
  10. Must be able to meet tight deadlines
  11. Able to work long hours
  12. Ability to conduct field visits timely
