To manage and account for allocated resources for UNMC
- Certify and follow up approval and payments to beneficiaries from UNMC Accounts.
Compile accountability returns, verify and retire advance ledgers.
Compile and reconcile enhanced financial reports and price and quality reports (PQR).
Examine completeness of payment reports, documents and certify requisitions of the UNMC related activities for further processing.
Maintain primary financial records and update the books of Accounts for the UNMC.
Prepare final Accounts for audit.
Prepare payments for UNMC activities.
Prepare periodic reconciliation for financial statements and carry out monthly cash book reconciliation to bank statements for UNMC.
Verify payroll change requests and reports to ensure correctness of computations, payments and deductions.
- Verify that receipts match expenditure and undertake reconciliation of invoices and local purchase orders for goods and services procured from the funds of UNMC before effecting payment.
