Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the posts that exist in kibaale district local government. Application in triplicate on psc form 3(2008)revised obtainable from District Service Commission Office, and Public Service Commission Office, Kampala with three most recent colored passport photographs should be submitted to the Secretary District Service Commission Kibaale
Applicants must indicate the post applied for and reference number. Certified copies of all academic certificates and transcripts together with national id must be attached. Serving officers who wish to apply should route their applications through their responsible officers who should be informed of the deadline. Job purpose:
To participate in controlling illegal forestry activities and ensure security of the forest estates
Qualifications:
The Uganda Certificate of Education (O’ Level) or it's equivalent

Responsibilities

i. Patrolling the forest reserves to detect illegal activities and apprehend culprits;
ii. Detecting and controlling forest fire outbreaks and other hazardous occurrences;
iii. Supporting productive activities in forest reserves;
iv. Participate in the enforcement of forest/ environment protection policies and regulations; and
v. Compiling daily activity reports and submitting them to the Forest Rangers of Assistant Forest
Officer.

Job Requirements

Required education: Diploma, Associate's degree
Required relevant work experience: 6 months
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
