Job Summary

An international hotel chain in Westland’s is seeking a Graphic Designer/Community Manager for their hotel in Nairobi. The ideal candidate is someone with the passion and skill set to communicate and implement compelling visuals in the form of graphic design and photography. He/she lives and breathes social media, and loves to express ideas through beautiful images.


Responsibilities

  1. Keeps all the online profiles updated and answers customer queries posted on the profiles.
  2. Prepares content for posting on the online spaces.
  3. Ensures all clients communicating online receive exceptional customer service at all times.
  4. Ensures smooth operation of the Marketing department at all times.
  5. Participates and attends hotel events for content coverage and marketing related events.
  6. Works with the marketing manager on proposals, pitches and monthly/annual plans.
  7. Sources and attends workshops that improve the digital profiles and presence.
  8. Actively involved in brainstorming sessions with several departments in the hotel.
  9. Prepares collateral for press kits, events, trade fairs and show rounds/site inspections.
  10. Keeps track of the standard of creative delivered, based on guest comments, responses and quality audits.
  11. Actively involved in the local area and online presence to keep up-to-date with specific issues and needs.
  12. Tracks developments in competitor hotels.
  13. Ensures quality of service and the fulfillment of the brand’s quality promise.
