Job Summary

To provide leadership and overall oversight in the HR Department ensuring all key areas of recruitment. Staff development and training, HR Administration, Performance management are done efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and Supervise the Human resources function of the Bank
  2. Develop and update human resources management policies and procedures that reflect market best practice, promote employee motivation and retention
  3. Responsibility for Recruitment, selection and talent management; hence, develop and implement relevant policies, processes and procedures, ensure that these are implemented and monitor to ensure that the required results are achieved
  4. Prepare and manage the Human Resource Budgets and costs on staff related matters to ensure that these are utilized in an optimal manner and opportunities for savings are identified and realized whenever possible.
  5. Development and implement a credible succession plan and put in place processes to continuously develop it
  6. Develop and implement through line Managers, optimal performance management systems and processes that will enable the bank to align employee activities to organizational goals
  7. Oversee the provision of training and staff capacity development initiates to enable the bank have a highly skilled and productive staff
  8. Manage the Employee Benefits and suggest to management new and better benefits to motivate and retain staff
  9. Oversee the implementation of the staff code of conduct and disciplinary processes.
  10. Provide career guidance and staff counselling services.
