Job Summary


To provide strategic leadership in driving Cars and Logbook loan sales in the company including motivating sales team, designing strategic sales plans, and assessing competition.

Responsibilities

Leadership/SupervisoryRole:
·Providingleadership in car sales by developing weekly/monthly/annual sales targets forbranches and other sales teams, identifying growth opportunities, salesimprovements, and taking responsibility for the actual performance verses settargets.
·Workin liaison with the Marketing to ensure that launches, activations, andcampaign activities are successful.
SalesStrategy:
• Designingand implementing a strategic car loan sales plan that expands company’scustomer base and ensure its strong presence in the market.
• Promotesthe development and implementation of sales action plansthatincorporate key actions.
•Settingand monitoring KPI’s for the sales leaders, i.e. Preparing forecasts used inorganizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategicplanning.
• Analysing salesperformance, evaluating current sales strategy successes and identifying areasof improvement (weaknesses).
• Establishing actionable insights forincreasing customer satisfaction, improving sales and enhanced revenuegeneration for the business.
• Fullyown sales process - provide guidance for every touch point with a client in aloan issuing process from documents collection, processing, car valuation todocuments signing.
• Improveturnaround time & general customer experience by making and suggestingunderwriting related processes quick & easy for Mogo customers.
• Monitoringthe brand and making forecasts, identifying new trends ahead of thecurve, hence, offering the business a competitive advantage and keeping itahead of its competition in the market.
• Holddaily/ weekly sales team meeting to come up with effective sales strategies,communicate performance standards and targets expectations and ensure they aremet.
Training:
· Trainall sales staff on best sales techniques for increased productivity.
· ConductingIndependent sales agents training and sales onboarding programs.
Collaboration:
Workingclosely with other departments, collecting relevant data and information,translating it into actionable strategies that drive sales and lead toachievement of targets.
BuildingRelationships:
·Establishingand fostering partnerships and relationships with dealers, other externalpartners, and key consumers to enable Mogo become a market leader inidentification of potential opportunities for sales and revenue generation.
PeopleManagement
• Performance Management- Monitor andevaluate the performance of all branches and other sales teams throughperformance appraisals and recommend / initiate corrective action wherenecessary to improve performance and attainment of set targets, as well asrecommending their confirmation and training needs.
• Succession Planning- Incollaboration with the HR Department, develop and implement a successionplanning program for sales team to facilitate continuity and availability ofrequired skills and competencies to meet the needs of the business.
Reports
• Preparedaily, weekly, and monthly reports, aligned with targets v/s actualachievement.
• Presentingsales reports and performance every month to Country Manager.
Qualifications
· University degree in Business management, Sales and Marketing, Finance, or related field.
·5+ year experience as a sales executive, sales manager meeting or exceeding
targets·Work experience relating B2C sales, call centre management and sales team management will be considered as an advantage.
·Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
·Proven ability to position products against competitors
·Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated, and
achievable solutions·Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
·Fluent in English and Swahili
