Job Summary

Our client’s hotel aims to attract an entirely different kind of customer base and compete against both global and regional competitors already established at the top end of the Kenyan Hotel Market. As such it has been positioned entirely differently with a key focus on Local business people and residents – young and upwardly mobile group whose attributes include open minded, entrepreneurial, social and fun loving. Do you have a solid understanding of plumbing and electrical systems? Our client is looking for you.


Responsibilities

  1. Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
  2. Daily inspections of the facilities and all electrical equipment to identify and resolve issues.
  3. Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality and safety.
  4. Plan all repair and installation and renovation activities.
  5. Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
  6. Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.
  7. Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
  8. Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
  9. Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
  10. Monitor and perform repairs/maintenance on the pool.
  11. Ensuring all electrical and firefighting equipment are serviced accordingly.
