Job Summary

Our client, a well-established Global Security Firm based in Nairobi, Kenya with branches across Africa is looking to recruit an Employee Relations Manager with a specialty in industrial relations. The successful candidate MUST have an excellent experience in working with unions. He /she will be required to provide advice, information and implements industrial relations & employment policies.


  1. Implement employee relations, social and welfare activities.
  2. Implement employee support programs at the branch to create a conducive & respectful workplace.
  3. Facilitate communication by providing guidance and consultation regarding problem solving, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance and litigation avoidance.
  4. Investigate and recommend actions for branch grievances & complaints of harassment and discrimination.
  5. Responsible for discipline management at the branch as per the discipline policy.
  6. Monitor staff employment details and ensure all staff have valid contracts.
  7. Support and coordinate annual staff appraisal, staff training and ensure training records are up to date.
