Job Summary

Our client, highly talented & experienced professionals in the logistics/freight forwarding industry is seeking to recruit a Human Resource Manager for their offices based in Nairobi, Kenya. The successful candidate MUST have worked in an ISO Certified environment & familiar with the process. He/she would be required to report directly to the C.E.O.


Responsibilities

  1. Managing the HR Department.
  2. Preparing and executing an efficient and high-quality HR strategy.
  3. Budget and staff planning.
  4. Ensure all employee contracts/personnel files are up to date & comply with the national labour law.
  5. Interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
  6. Management of annual leave schedule.
  7. Administer & maintain proper systems of leaves, sick offs and absenteeism.
  8. Hear and resolve employee grievances, conduct investigations and counsel employees.
  9. Implement a performance evaluation systems and appraisal tools.
  10. Analyse training needs of the organization & design employee development, training programs.
  11. Support, motivate and cultivate a culture of teamwork amongst all staff.
  12. Lead the design and implementation of HR function structure.
  13. Required to work Monday – Saturday.
