Job Summary
Is this you?
We’re looking for someone who can understand complex public health problems and distill them to their essence to create unique and powerful behavioral solutions that work. If this sounds like you, get in touch!
Who we are
Common Thread has been shaking up the world of global public health since 2017. We work to harness the power of human behaviour to stop the spread of disease. Our clients include the world’s leading organizations in public health, international development, and philanthropy. We connect behavioural insights with community knowledge to design powerful solutions that help people lead healthier lives.
How we work
We are a small, borderless, fully remote company with full-time contractors based all over the world. We search hard for independent, autonomous, and creative team players who can work independently, but also collaborate with a talented team, learn together, and design powerful behavioral solutions that blend the best of human-centered design, behavioral science, anthropology, marketing and other disciplines.
This role requires the following skills:
● Fluent English, demonstrated experience writing in English is essential
● Creativity - we really value new ideas
● Autonomy and leadership - being able to set your own objectives, take initiatives and lead your work independently is important
● Writing skills would be a strong plus- presenting insights in an engaging way for clients deliverables
Ideally you have:
● Master in Design, Human-Centered Design, Information Design, or similar degree
● International experience, especially in the Global South. Being based in the Global South is an advantage for this position.
● Knowledge in behavioral science and/or global health could be a valuable plus.
Even if you don’t feel like you meet all the criteria, but feel you have other talents, please apply. We want to hear about what makes you exceptional!
What we offer
As a Common Thread Associate you’ll have great flexibility. You can work anywhere you want. As long as you get your work done and can offer predictability, you are free to organize your own schedule. As a young start-up, we offer possibilities to pursue a learning path that excites you, and enables you to grow fast with us. Once you’re part of the family, we want to make sure you have what you need to excel. We take work-life balance seriously, and offer a generous leave package for our full-time associates.
