Job Application Procedure
Applications should be submitted in triplicates on the Public Service Form. 3 (Revised 2008) to the Secretary, District Service Commission, P.O. Box 148 Fort-Portal to be received not later than 8th February 2021 at 5:00 PM.
Application forms can be obtained from the Public Service Commission Offices located on 2nd floor Farmers HouseKampala, District Service Commissions or can be downloaded from the PSC websitewww.psc.go.ug.
Applicants MUST attach on each form certified copies of academic certificates and transcripts by the awarding Institutions, Registration Certificates and Annual Practicing License where applicable, recent passport size photograph, National Identity Card and should bear the title and reference number of the post applied for. Serving officers MUST route their applications through their Responsible Officers who should be informed of the closing date to avoid delay.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
• Provide counseling on policies and procedures
• Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
• Create and implement effective onboarding plans
• Develop training and development programs
• Assist in performance management processes
• Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
• Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
• Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance

Job Requirements

Required education: Bachelor's degree
Required relevant work experience: 3 years
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
