The Income Auditor will be responsible for auditing daily revenue and producing the revenue report.
1. Audit all daily revenue
transactions from all outlets and ensure accuracy for revenue posted into Opera
and Sun systems.2. Review the daily arrivals, check
in reports and guest in-house reports and ensure number of pax and rates
applied agree to the contract or approved rates.3. Ensure front office check-in and
check-out reports agree to housekeeping reports and any anomalies investigated
and reported promptly.4. Check and ensure that all
discounts given follow procedure and are within approved limits and signed by
authorized personnel.5. Audit the authencity of credit and
debit card transactions and ensure that the daily card transactions agree to
the card summaries and postings to Opera and Sun System.6. Carry out surprise periodic checks
at the various revenue and cash outlets to ensure procedures are adhered to and
any anomalies reported to management for prompt action.7. Check on the authencity of all
outlet rebates and confirm they are accurate and procedurally done.8. Ensure all PM folios are
authorized and properly documented.9. Perform month end closing
procedures and ensure the trial balance agrees to the ledger.10. Prepare daily and monthly revenue
reports for management.11. Audit the banquet functions and ensure the
charges are as per banquet event orders.12. Control and reconcile the daily sales in the
outlets.13. Check the authenticity of all FO
paid outs/rebates and outlet rebates and verify for accuracy.14. Continuous review and documentation of hotel
income procedures as may be necessary.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Commerce( Finance) or any other related course
- CPA (K).
- 3 years minimum experience as an Income auditor in a Hotel.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
