Job Purpose:
Responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines
HOW TO APPLY
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the posts that exist in kibaale district local government. Application in triplicate on psc form 3(2008)revised obtainable from District Service Commission Office, and Public Service Commission Office, Kampala with three most recent colored passport photographs should be submitted to the Secretary District Service Commission Kibaale
Applicants must indicate the post applied for and reference number. Certified copies of all academic certificates and transcripts together with national id must be attached. Serving officers who wish to apply should route their applications through their responsible officers who should be informed of the deadline. Responsibilities

  • Manage information technology and computer systems
  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
  • Supervise IT staff through training, coaching and appraising their performance
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes
  • Preserve assets, information security and control structures

Job Requirements

Required education: Bachelor's degree
Required relevant work experience: 2 years
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
