Responsibilities

  1. Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues
  2. Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte andor buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standards
  3. Conduct daily shift briefings to kitchen Colleagues in absence of the Sous Chef
  4. Ensure all kitchen Colleagues are aware of standards and expectations
  5. Liaise with the Outlet Chef to keep open lines of communication regarding guest feedback
  6. Maintain proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize wastage/spoilage
  7. Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotions
  8. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment
  9. Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards
  10. Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  11. Other duties as assigned
