Job Summary

Todevelop and support Key National Accounts and Export sales promotion for EAMVLand conduct high-level negotiations and develop strategic solutions with keyaccounts to promote the EAMVL brand and products. To develop robust Export and Keyaccounts joint business plans and undertake full category analysis to maximizepotential return for EAMVL. To act as the liaison between EAMVL and its keyaccounts across the COMESA region.

Supervises: Market Developers (Central)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a bias in Marketing orBusiness management, or any other related field.

Knowledge and Experience
  • 3+ years Key accounts management experiencepreferably FMCGs
  • Experience during a successful product launch
  • Provenexperience in sales and customer services related to medical consumables willbe an advantage
  • Knowledgeand understanding of the operations of the NMS, NDA and other regulatory bodies

Responsibilities

Business Planning
• Develop new and increase existing business along with securing new business opportunities in Uganda and COMESA region.
• Develop a commercial plan for Key Accounts and Exports.
• Build, maintain, and secure long-term business relationships with EAMVL’s key customers.
• Achieve and maximize profitable volume growth for all managed accounts in the region.
• Ensure organic forecast and supply chain for key partners and exports.
• Conduct full category & price point analysis to identify opportunities to maximize profitability by managing product mix.

Leadership & Perseverance
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the sector, keeping up-to-date with market trends and developments by competitors.
• Take the necessary action to resolve any problems and queries.
• Present the EAMVL Local and Export value proposition directly to customers.
• Respond to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner.
• Manage and maintain up-to-date sales administration using CRM software.

Relationship Building & Teamwork
• Foster an environment where team members encourage and support each other and celebrate each other’s success.
• Work cooperatively with others towards shared goals and contributes towards the creation of a solution to complex business problems.
• Encourage open dialogue and diversity of thought.
• Proactively engage with key customers and external stakeholders to cultivate relationships that can ensure sales volume growth.

• Set and communicates clear accountabilities and delivers candid and effective feedback to team members.
• Champion the business planning process to develop sales professionals, drive results, and improve performance through a prospective and analytical approach.
• Leverage training, tools, data, and other resources to support team members in achieving and maintaining optimal performance levels.
• Continuously monitor field activities and regularly works with team members to ensure goals and objectives are met in a customer-focused, sustainable, and scalable manner.
• Motivate teams to excel by leveraging personal strengths and improving in areas for development.

• Translate strategy and organizational goals into clear plans and initiatives for execution.
• Think critically and analyzes various options to identify patterns, generate insights, or modify plans.
• Bring a solution-oriented approach and explores novel, unconventional, or creative solutions.
• Closely monitor competitive activity to create and maximize sales opportunities.

Job Requirements

Required education: Bachelor's degree
Required relevant work experience: 3 years
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
