Job Summary

Required Qualifications
1. A PhD (Political Ecology of Development, Natural Resources, Rural Sociology, Youth Entrepreneurship Studies & Planning and Management of Agricultural Institutions.

2. A Master in International Development or Rural Development.

3. Honors Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or Agriculture or Psychology or Natural Resources Management

Responsibilities

1. Teaching, examining and grading students at both Graduate and Undergraduate level.

2. Plan, develop, and implement course curricula including curricula to be delivered via several models of teaching & learning.

3. Supervision research for Undergraduate and Graduate Students.

4. Mentoring of Junior Staff.

5. Conducting research and community outreach activities.

6. Writing proposals for attracting funding to the Department.

7. And any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department

Required relevant work experience: 3 years
