(i) a Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Building
Economics/Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
and Construction Management or equivalent qualification from a university
recognized in Kenya;
a Bachelors degree in any of the following: Physics, Chemistry or any relevant
field from a university recognized in Kenya with a Diploma in Technical
Education/Post graduate Diploma in Education from a recognized institution.
(i) teaching in the area of specialization;
(ii) preparation of schemes of work, lesson plans, teaching materials and aids;
(iii) setting and marking course work/examination in the area of specialization; and
(iv) conducting and assessing practical projects for the trainers under the guidance of a
senior lecturer in the department.
