Qualifications and Working Experience

  1. An Honours Bachelor's degree in the relevant field;
  2. A Diploma in Cooperative and Business Administration is an added advantage;
  3. Registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports; - Must have at least one teaching specialty.

Applications should bear the title of the post as well as the reference number specified against the vacancy. Applicants should attach photocopies of their academic certificates and ‘transcripts plus recent passport size photographs and any other relevant documents to each copy of the application forms. Serving Officers must route their applications through their Head of Department or School, who should be advised on the closing date to ensure submission within the deadline.


Responsibilities

  1. Prepare lecturers/lesson plans on a semester and weekly basis; 
  2. Conduct lectures according to the time table; 
  3. Participate in setting, administering and marking internal and external examination;
  4. Supervise students field work and research;
  5. Carry out continuous assessment and evaluation of student's performance during the training;
  6. Attend general staft meetings, panel, departmental and committee meetings;
  7. Guide and counsel trainees/students;
  8. Participate in co-curricular and community activities;
  9. Ensure institute discipline; - Conduct any other duties as assigned.
