Job Summary

ICJ Kenya welcomes Internship Applications for an initial minimum period of three months. The recruitment of the interns will be done bi-annually.

(i) Criteria for Selection

(a) The Minimum qualifications for the position will be:
(i) A first degree in law.
(ii) Successful completion of Advocates Training Programme at the Kenya School of Law.

(b) The minimum skills required for the Position will be:
(i) Exception Legal Research and Writing.
(ii) Communication and Presentation.
(iii) Knowledge and interest of ICJ Kenya’s work.
(iv) Demonstrated passion for human rights and community service.


The aim of ICJ Kenya Internship Programme is to;

(i) Mentor and incubate law graduates through exposing then to the Vision and Mission of ICJ Kenya;
(ii) Foster human rights champions with a passion for public and community service by integrating them in implementation of ICJ Kenya’s interventions.

Job Requirements

Required education: Bachelor's degree
Required relevant work experience: one month
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
