Job Summary
We're a multinational company launching a mobile money network in Uganda. We’re looking for resourceful and outgoing Territory Leads who are excited to help us launch and grow our agent network and sign up our first users.
In the earliest phases of the launch you will travel around the country as needed recruiting agents and signing up users. Later, you will be responsible for growing and managing either our agent network or user base in a specific part of the country.

Agent Recruitment – In each target area, find the business owner who will make the best agent, convince them to join our network, and train them to use our tools.

Customer Recruitment– In each target area, find the people who use mobile money the most, sign them up, and convince them to try our service. Listen to any feedback they have and pass it on to the rest of the team so that we can continue to improve our service.
Expansion phase
During the expansion phase you will be responsible either for user growth or agent network management within your territory. This will involve many of the following tasks:

Customer Recruitment – manage a team of distributors who will sign up users within your territory and convince them to try our service

Agent Recruitment – manage a team of agent openers who will recruit and train agents within your territory

Agent Quality – Ensure that agents in your territory
- are compliant with all legal and policy requirements
- have executed valid contracts
- are trained on the contents of the contract before signing the contract
- are well branded and have the necessary supplies

Agent Liquidity Management – Coordinate the monitoring of cash / float availability at agent locations in cooperation with our liquidity team

Risk Management and Routine Visitation – Report on emerging issues and assess the performance of agents in your territory

Agent Churn – Identify underperforming agents, close them, recover Wave items and equipment, and ensure that branding material is removed

Be the primary contact person for all agency network acquiring & Wave products in your territory

Champion excellent customer service among distributors and agents within your territory
Job Requirements
Required education: Bachelor's degreeRequired relevant work experience: 6 months
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
