As a first step, we will open a new medical laboratory that focuses on STIs and related disease areas in Nairobi. We provide the laboratory tests and treatment for STIs in combinations with web-based risk assessment services and e-commerce of home test kits for the potential patients.

We are looking for a Pharmacist for our clinic whose initial responsibilities include sorting out the
registration and listing of medical devices that are to be imported to Kenya.
The pharmacist will not only be responsible for the medical devices importation but also to enable us to sell them with a Wholesale Dealer’s License. As expansion of the company proceeds, their responsibilities will broaden as well.


Initial Responsibilities

  • Importing procedure- registration and listing of medical devices
  • Ensure ability to retrieve Wholesale Dealer’s License through pharmacist
  • Quality Assurance and Quality Control of medical products
  • Work closely with Pharmacy and Poisons Board to ensure importation documents are in order
Future Responsibilities
  • Work closely with PPB to ensure clinic is following guidelines
  • Communicates with team about prescriptions
  • Advises patients with proper use of prescription medication and answers questions about the drugs
  • Stock and inventory management
  • Control and distribution of all stocks of drugs
  • Liaise with the Quality Assurance department regarding quality issues during drug receipt, storage and dispatch
  • Remains up to date with latest pharmaceutical drugs, developments and laws

Job Requirements

Required education: Bachelor's degree
Required relevant work experience: 3 years
Required skills: Medication and prescription administration; Reporting; Customer service; Operative management; Import logistics and custom handling; Patient care; Office tools: Word, Excel, Outlook; Supplier evaluation and management; Stock and inventory management; Public health
Required languages: Swahili (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent),
