Job Summary

To carry out radiographic imaging for diagnosis, treatment and management of patients and ensure proper management of the unit.


Responsibilities

  1. Accounts for allocated resources
  2. Ensure that equipment is secure, functional and well maintained.
  3. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
  4. Carry out human resource management activities like identifying manpower needs, training, leave and deployment.
  5. Liaise with Ward Management in the preparation of patients for radiographic investigation and treatment.
  6. Participate in diagnosis and monitoring treatment in order to minimize side effects.
  7. Plan, coordinate, monitor, evaluate and budget for radiography activities.
  8. Manage and account for allocated resources.
  9. Compile and submit reports.
  10. Initiate and participate in research activities.
  11. Ensure that patients and staff in the hospitals are protected from radiation and radioactive materials.
