The Role
The purpose of this role is to work in close collaboration with county government, Pre-primary Education Actors, schools, parents, Civil Societies, communities and volunteers to implement Accountability for Service delivery Project objectives and interventions in the target counties


  1. Ensure timely and quality delivery of all project interventions as per the project outline and contract
  2. Ensure effective monitoring of activities to achieve project outcomes
  3. Participate in identification of potential schools; assessment of implementing partners, and contribute to project design and regular monitoring.
  4. Conduct administrative and financial duties related to all aspects of project implementation; organise all necessary logistics for project activities, such as meetings, events, workshops, trainings, M&E activities inline with VSO procedures strictly
  5. Maintain an effective communication system and ensure information flow between project and relevant parties.
  6. Undertake extensive travel to project sites to lead in implementation of activities, capacity building of volunteers, implementing partners and primary actors
  7. Ensure quality administration and financial management in all project sites
  8. Support the PO in drafting contracts, work plans, budgets, and writing project internal and donor reports
  9. Manage and regularly check project assets to ensure their right purpose of use, maintains data management and filing system for the projects
  10. Ensure security and safety for project work station, and liaising with Hosting Partners to ensure smooth running of the offices.
  11. Supervise and support Volunteers, and project stakeholders, including logistical and administrative support.
  12. Represent VSO in meetings at county government and other relevant stakeholders as required
  13. Entrench VSO core approaches and People First Framework principles through out project processes
  14. Provide support for other VSO activities as reasonably requested by supervisors and in line with organizational priorities
