Job Summary

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in IT
  • 5+ years of proven delivery, managing increasingly complex projects
  • 5+ years of recent experience in cloud and IT transition, transformation, and migration management, preferably with mass migrations technology
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools
  • Project Management certification
Experience & Skills:
  • 5+ years of proven experience in Project Management
  • Experience/certification in acknowledged project management methodologies is an asset, or other known project management techniques and procedures
  • Knowledge and experience on ERP systems and/or ERP implementations is a plus
  • Strong communication, mediation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and resources
  • Ability to act as the point of contact between project team, sponsors, managers, and clients
  • Excellent leadership, analysis, facilitation, and client relationship skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • High degree of initiative, accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff

Responsibilities

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Work with process owners to gather business requirements for data migration needs
  • Work across multiple functional areas to understand data usage and implications of data migration
  • Assist in designing, planning, and managing the data migration process
  • Work with subject matter experts and project team to identify, define, collate, document, and communicate the data migration requirements
  • Develop best practice, processes, and standards for effectively carrying out data migration activities
  • Perform data migration audit, reconciliation, and exception reporting
  • Good project management practices and tools to control cost, scope, and schedule to ensure progress remains on track
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project execution plan
  • Create and communicate a roles and responsibilities matrix for project teams
  • Develop and follow a communication plan that defines information flow and project status reporting requirements
  • Develop a risk register with mitigation plans for each identified risk
  • Define a quality plan that is communicated and implemented
  • Develop a project estimate with appropriate work breakdown structure granularity that is updated with earned value and regularly reviewed with the project team
  • Hold regular team meetings with defined agendas and published minutes
  • Maintain an updated action item log that is readily available to the project team
  • Ensure proper testing and verification before cutover to the new SuiteSuccess system

Job Requirements

Required education: Bachelor's degree
Required relevant work experience: 5 years
Required languages: English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
