Job Summary

Cytonn Investments is an independent investments management firm, with offices in Nairobi - Kenya and D.C. Metro - U.S. We are primarily focused on offering alternative investment solutions to global and local institutional investors, individual high net-worth investors, and diaspora investors interested in the East-African region.


Our investments are in real estate and private equity. Real estate investments are made through our development affiliate, Cytonn Real Estate, where we currently have over Kshs. 82 billion (USD 820 mn) of projects under mandate across ten projects. In private equity, we invest in banking, insurance, education, hospitality and technology. Our financial services investments in Sub Saharan Africa are made through our Cytonn Financial Services Fund (CFSF) through which we are the 5th largest shareholder in NIC Bank in Kenya. Investments in education and hospitality are made through Cytonn Education Services and Cytonn Hospitality, respectively.

To manage its rapid growth, the company is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic, hardworking and self-driven team player to join the team as a Quality Assurance/Control Manager/Associate in the Quality Assurance/Quality Control department.

REQUIREMENTS
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Survey or Civil Engineering with a Minimum of Upper Second Class Honors or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of B+ in KCSE or equivalent
  3. At least 3-5 years of working experience
  4. Ability to work in a team
  5. Ready to take on challenges
  6. Demonstrate leadership capability
  7. Innovative and solution oriented individuals


Responsibilities

  1. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
  2. Oversee all onsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
  3. Review the work progress on daily basis
  4. Prepare internal review reports pertaining to project status in terms of quality, safety, schedule and cost
  5. Analyze, manage and mitigate risks facing projects
  6. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
  7. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
