• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

• At least 6 years experience including solid experience in a similar role within Industrial.

• You possess excellent communication and influencing skills, are organised and able to multi-task effectively.

• You have working knowledge of budgeting, corrugated box manufacturing and strategic planning

• You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments

• You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems

• You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments

• Proven experience in a managerial role within a box manufacturing plant or a similar manufacturing environment.

• Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and improving production processes and achieving targets.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Familiarity with quality management systems, such as ISO standards.

• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.

• Proficiency in using computer software, such as Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software.

• Providing a clear direction and focus to all plant employees and allocating resources to ensure produce optimum results.

• Overseeing all aspects of the daily operations of the plant to ensure it is running efficiently, safely and cost effectively.

• Ensuring correct and timely product supply.

• Managing the teams to optimise production output and product quality and ensuring on-time shipping.

• Monitoring and reviewing all quality indices in compliance with corporate guidelines, as well as laws and regulations governing the plant.

• Ensuring a safe work environment.

• Building productive and motivated teams by implementing coaching and training programs and addressing all staff issues in a timely and effective manner.

• Driving the use of Operational Excellence (Lean Six Sigma) methodologies through coaching the project teams to continuously streamline processes and eliminate waste to achieve optimum efficiency and effectiveness.

• Creating a culture based on Lean Operating Principles.

• Managing a team of More than 100 people.

• Supervise the daily operations of the box manufacturing plant to ensure a seamless production process and meet production goals.

• Create and execute strategies to make the plant work better, reduce expenses, and increase overall efficiency.

• Manage and lead the plant team, which includes hiring, training, and providing ongoing guidance and feedback.

• Keep an eye on production data, find areas that need improvement, and take action to make things work better.

• Make sure everyone follows safety rules and encourages a safety-conscious atmosphere in the plant.

• Work closely with the procurement team to guarantee we have enough raw materials and maintain inventory levels.

• Build and sustain relationships with important suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

• Put in place quality control measures to make sure all boxes meet required standards and customer specifications.

• Keep an eye on and manage production costs, including labor, materials, and equipment maintenance, to hit cost targets and maximize profits.

• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in box manufacturing, and suggest and put into practice improvements as needed.
