Job Summary

Our client, a multinational Commercial Bank is looking to recruit for a Relationship Manager who will be responsible for facilitating business growth through sale of liability (Deposits) products including building profitable client relationships, maintaining effective deposit portfolio management and standards of service quality in compliance with applicable policies and procedures.


Responsibilities

  1. To drive the deposit mobilization arm of the business by following all the AML/customer due diligence policies and regulations.
  2. Develop and implement a business plan for identified target markets with identified volumes to drive high volumes of new deposits to the bank.
  3. Supervise and coordinate the work of Deposit Mobilization Officers.
  4. Develop and implement a business development plan to improve the deposit mobilization and retention of deposit and also manage withdrawal attrition.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with business clients and individual depositors.
  6. Develop plans to increase penetration into new geographical areas and develop savings & deposit culture among the clients.
  7. Build new relationships with existing customers and new customers.
  8. Innovate and develop attractive value added deposit products together with the Marketing Department to achieve the overall deposit targets.
  9. Innovate and improve ways of rewarding depositors in terms of interest earning on ordinary deposit and fixed deposits.
  10. Liaise with the Human Resource Department to recruit, train, motivate, retain and organize staff to achieve set goals.
  11. Help to establish standards of performance and monitor conformance of staff through performance Review.
  12. Liaise with Branch Supervisors to ensure that, due diligence is always enforced to meet the requirements of the regulator and also protect the interest of both the depositors and the bank.
